1930s Starter House

Our Barnet renovation project involved a complete architectural transformation of a dated post-war terraced house, turning it into a modern, minimal, and light-filled home with warm tones and a blend of contemporary and traditional features.

The renovation included stripping the internal walls back to brick, ensuring that all finishes were reconstructed to the highest possible quality. All ceilings were also removed and rebuilt, creating clean, solid finishes throughout. Additionally, one chimney was removed, and several internal walls were demolished and relocated to maximise the efficiency of the living spaces.

To enhance the home's thermal performance, we maximised insulation and installed contemporary energy-efficient double-glazed windows throughout. The property also underwent a full rewire, with a thoughtfully integrated lighting design and electrical layout.

A full replumbing was completed, including a new boiler, efficient heating system, and feature radiators, ensuring optimal comfort and energy efficiency. This comprehensive renovation has revived the property, delivering a sleek and high-performance home, perfectly suited for contemporary living.
